At 5:52pm on Wednesday, 31 July, we received a report of a road traffic collision on the A308(M) near Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a five-car collision with one car smoking. Firefighters made the scene safe before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
Firefighters were at the scene for approximately 20 minutes.
