At 11:46am on Saturday, 14 October, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 Westbound between Junction 13 and Junction 14.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station and the Heavy Rescue Unit from Theale Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving four cars. No people were trapped, so crews worked the scene safe and assisted South Central Ambulance Service before handing over to Thames Valley Police.
They were on the scene for around 28 minutes.
