Road Traffic Collision on M4(W)

At 5:48pm on Tuesday, 8 March, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 Westbound between Junction 10 in Winnersh and Junction 11 in Three Mile Cross.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Ascot and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Heavy Rescue Unit from Theale Community Fire Station and one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving three vehicles with two people trapped. Crews rescued the people from the vehicle and safely placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service, before making the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 39 minutes.
