At 5:32pm on Thursday, 19 December, we received a report of a road traffic collision on the M4 between Junctions 11 and 12.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Wokingham Road and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a road traffic collision involving a large vehicle. Firefighters assisted multiple individuals to safety and secured the scene.
Crews were on the scene for around 31 minutes.
