At 3:49pm on Sunday, 11 February, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 near Winnersh.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Slough, Maidenhead and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 27 minutes.
