At 8:38am on Tuesday, 26 April, we received reports of an unsafe structure on Bridge Street, Newbury.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station and the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a large piece of lead hanging from the third floor of a building.
Crews safely removed the piece of lead using the Aerial Ladder Platform and were on the scene for approximately one hour and five minutes.
