At 12:28pm on Saturday, 1 June, we received reports of a car fire on the A329M near Winnersh.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Bracknell and Wokingham Road were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival firefighters found a car fully involved in fire on the hard shoulder. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
Crews were on the scene for about 45 minutes.
