At 1.12pm on Thursday, 30 May, we received reports of a car fire on the A404(M), Junction 9B near Maidenhead.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found noone was trapped, but they found a car well alight. One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire, before damping down.
Crews were on the scene for about 40 minutes.
