At 4:37pm on Thursday, 27 February, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 Westbound between Junction 5 in Langley and Junction 6 in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside two crews from London Fire Brigade.
Upon arrival, crews found one car on fire. One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire and make the area safe, before handing over to National Highways.
They were on scene for approximately 36 minutes.
