At 8:24am on Sunday, 17 November, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on the M4 Eastbound between Junction 14 in Shefford Woodlands and Junction 13 in Chieveley.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue crew from Hungerford Community Fire Station and two crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one car on fire. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire.
They were on scene for approximately 37 minutes.
