At 12:17pm on Tuesday, 10 September, we received a report of a vehicle fire on Plumtrees in Earley.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a car on fire. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire before using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
The crew was at the scene for approximately 28 minutes.
