At 9:12am on Tuesday, 20 March, we received reports of a vehicle fire on Lennox Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a dustcart carrying recyclables. Crews used two hose reels to extinguish the fire before inspecting the rubbish to ensure the fire was fully out.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and two minutes.
