At 11:25pm on Friday, 26 July, we received reports of a vehicle fire on Blagrave Street in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a car on fire in a garage. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire before ventilating the property with three fans.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 20 minutes before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
