At 7.42am on Tuesday, 15 November, we received several reports of a vehicle fire on the eastbound carriage way of the M4 Motorway, next to Membury Services.
Two fire appliances from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a van well alight. The fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using two hose reels.
They were on the scene for around 58 minutes.
