At 12:53pm on Saturday, 20 July, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 between Junctions 7 and 8/9.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a vehicle on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put the fire out.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 26 minutes.
