At 9:39pm on Saturday, 27 July, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 between Junctions 13 and 14.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle on fire in the hard shoulder. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 46 minutes.
