At 12:20am on Saturday, 3 December, we were called by Thames Valley Police to reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 (W) between J8.9 Holyport and Junction 10 Winnersh.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle well alight.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 56 minutes.
