At 12:04am on Thursday, 27 February, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 between Junctions 13 and 14.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a car on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel and foam to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 50 minutes before handing over to Thames Valley Police.
