At 3:53am on Tuesday, 17 September, we received a report of a vehicle fire on the Swallowfield Bypass near Swallowfield.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Whitley Wood Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a van leaking smoke. Firefighters used one hose reel to cool the van.
The crew was on the scene for around 19 minutes.
