At 3:50am on Tuesday, 17 September, we received a call from Themes Vally Police to a report of an incident on the A404 southbound near Bisham.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead was sent to the scene alongside crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and two Officers.
Upon arrival, crews discovered fuel on the road. Firefighters used environmental equipment to remove the fuel from the road surface.
Crews were on the scene for around two minutes.
