At 9:36am on Saturday, 20 April, we were called to assist Thames Valley Police near Sonning Bridge.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Wokingham, Whitley Wood and an off-road vehicle from Maidenhead were sent to the scene, together with four Officers.
Working with Police Officers, crews sadly discovered the body of a man in the river, who Thames Valley Police believe is missing person Daniel. Our thoughts are with Daniel’s friends and family at this extremely difficult time.
Crews were on scene for about five hours.
