At 3:14pm on Monday, 2 September, we were called to a report of a vehicle in the water at Stovell Road in Windsor.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley and Windsor were sent to the scene, alongside three officers and water rescue units from Caversham Road and Slough.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that a vehicle was completely submerged in the River Thames, behind the Windsor leisure centre. Crews currently remain on the scene at this time (5pm).
All water traffic is currently being stopped and people should avoid the area, where possible. Thank you for your patience while our crews respond to this incident.
