At 7:47am on Monday, 25 November, we received reports of an incident on Shalford Hill near Aldermaston.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury fire stations were sent to the scene alongside the Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a car trapped in flood water. Firefighters used water rescue equipment to rescue one person from the vehicle.
The crew was at the scene for approximately 46 minutes.
