At 5:59pm on Thursday, 4 January, we received reports of vehicle in water on Spray Road near Inkpen.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene alongside a Water Rescue Unit from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle trapped in flood water. Firefighters rescued two people from the vehicle before winching the vehicle out of the flood water.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes.
