At 6:44pm on Thursday, 4 January, we received reports of vehicle in water on Island Farm Road near Ufton Nervet.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Mortimer and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle trapped in flood water. Firefighters rescued one person from the vehicle before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 15 minutes.
