Over the bank holiday weekend, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters have attended a series of road traffic collisions. Incidents include:
Friday 26 May
At 10:12pm, Thames Valley Fire Control Service received reports of a three-car road traffic collision on Craufurd Rise, Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Windsor were sent to the scene. Firefighters were at the incident for about 30 minutes.
At 1:51am, Thames Valley Fire Control Service received reports of a shed fire in Rowdell Drive, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters from Whitley Wood were sent to the scene.
A firefighter used one hose reel and a jet to extinguish the fire.
Saturday 27 May
At 3:35pm, Thames Valley Fire Control Service received reports of a road traffic collision on the A404 southbound between Maidenhead Thicket and Holyport.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters from Whitley Wood were sent to the scene.
Firefighters assisted South Central Ambulance Service.
Sunday 28 May
At 11:33am, Thames Valley Fire Control Service received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 westbound between Shefford Woodlands and Membury Services.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury were sent to the scene. Firefighters assisted by making the scene safe.
At 2:28pm, Thames Valley Fire Control Service received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 eastbound between junction 12 (Theale) and junction 11 (Three Mile Cross).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood and Caversham Road were sent to the scene. Firefighters assisted by making the scene safe.
At 10:51pm, Thames Valley Fire Control Service received reports of a road traffic collision on Willoughby Road, Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley were sent to the scene. Firefighters assisted by making the scene safe.
