RBFRS is no longer accepting vehicle donations from members of the public. This change in policy is effective immediately and is because of environmental issues and the cost of sanitising and disposing of the vehicles.
Previously members of the public could donate their vehicles, which would be used by our crews for training purposes, to simulate rescue situations from road traffic collision incidents.
RBFRS will continue to use vehicles for training, which will be supplied by registered providers that we have agreements with.
