Following a public consultation, the Royal Berkshire Fire Authority (RBFA) has now published its Corporate Plan and Integrated Risk Management Plan for the years 2019 – 2023.
The document sets out in strategic terms what Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) intends to achieve over the next four years, and the approach that will be taken to ensure that our ambitious plans become a reality.
During the consultation, a total of 398 responses were received from members of the public and RBFRS staff. These responses were collated into a report which was presented to Members of the RBFA for them to conscientiously consider.
Following consideration of the feedback received, on 19 November, Members voted unanimously to publish the document. A video of this Fire Authority meeting is available here.
Before 2019, the Corporate Plan and Integrated Risk Management Plan 2015 – 19 remains our current plan. Annual Action Plans will follow in due course, which will contain specific and detailed information about what will be achieved in each of the four years between now and 2023. This may lead on to specific consultations on individual topics within each project at a later date during the next IRMP period. All information about any current, or past, consultations can be found on our website.
Thank you to everyone who took part in our consultation and had their say on the plans. Your feedback helped shape our direction over the next four years.
