At 11.19am on Thursday, 1 August, we received reports of a collapsed structure on Garrard Street, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) crews from Caversham Road, Dee Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood and the Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead were sent to the scene.
Firefighters conducted a search, alongside an Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR) from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and fire service search dogs from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and London Fire Brigade.
Three people have been treated for injuries at the scene and have been taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
Crews conducted a search to confirm that there were no people trapped under the collapsed scaffolding.
Firefighters were at the scene for just over seven hours and have now left the scene.
