Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) are looking for new On-call Firefighters.
On-call Firefighters respond to a variety of situations and so we #NeedMore people from different backgrounds. If you want a role to fit around your current commitments and have a reasonable level of fitness, visit oncallfire.uk and find out more about training to be a firefighter in your local community.
Although On-call Firefighters are not based on fire stations, they usually live or work within eight minutes of their local On-call fire station and are ready to respond to any emergency when required.
In the New Year, the Service will be hosting two selection tests for aspiring On-call recruits at our Training Centre at Whitley Wood Fire Station in Reading. These selection events will take place from 9:30 am on:
- Saturday, 13 January 2024
- Saturday, 3 February 2024
