Here you will find everything you need for the KS2 Fire Safety Session!

The Fire Safety Session Plan has been included to support effective delivery and ensure the learning objectives have been met. In the event that members of RBFRS are called away to an incident, prior to or during the lesson, the session plan also contains further support for teachers, should they wish to continue the learning in the absence of the Fire Service.

We would request that the Fire Safety Session PowerPoint be on display, ready for the session to commence. The PowerPoint also contains hidden slides with additional video resources to support teachers carrying out the session.

The Fire Safety Session Guidance provides answers to each of the session activities, as well as more extensive assistance and understanding around the key fire safety messages and their significance.

An electronic version of the Fire Safety Session Workbook has also been provided but please note, each young person will be provided with a printed copy of the workbook by attending members of RBFRS staff as part of the session.

Following the visit, we would request that teachers complete the Session Evaluation. This will assist us with future developments to the programme and the education we provide young people across Berkshire.
