Incident Reports
Following the attendance of Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) at an incident, a report is completed using the Incident Recording System (IRS).
This incident information is mainly collated for statistical purposes and determined by the Home Office, it covers fires, false alarms and non-fire incidents. It will include basic details about the incident, such as where the fire took place, the time we were called and what we believe is the most likely cause of the fire.
From this system an IRS Report (incident report) can be generated.
Depending on the nature of an incident, a more detailed Fire Investigation Report may also be produced by the Fire Investigation Team.
